What to Watch For
Watch the sequence, not only the finished result. Look at how the operator or automation approaches the machine, how the part or insert is positioned, where movement is constrained, and which steps happen before and after the main machine action.
If the clip shows a molding machine, also check mold access, loading position, table movement, injection direction, part removal, guarding, and visible automation boundaries. If it shows a supporting production line, use it to discuss how much of the workflow should be handled by the machine and how much should remain outside the molding cell.
Questions to Prepare After Watching
- What molded part, insert, or material behavior looks closest to your project?
- Does the workflow require fixed platen, slide table, rotary table, or a customized loading method?
- Which details still need engineering confirmation, such as mold structure, cavity count, heating, cooling, or automation?
When the Video Is Only a Reference
A video can help both sides discuss the same movement or workflow, but it is not a final machine selection by itself. Product drawings, material information, mold concept, cavity count, loading method, and target output are still needed before Deboge can review a configuration path.
