How do I choose the right application category?
Start from the strongest constraint in your project. If your production is defined by a specific molding process (insert, overmolding, thermoset, LSR), use By Molding Process. If your industry dictates material or regulatory requirements, use By Industry. If you manufacture a known product type (cable connectors, power plugs, brushes, filters), use By Product Type. Each path leads to the same machine review flow.
What if my product fits multiple application types?
Many products cross application boundaries - a cable connector involves both insert molding and overmolding, for example. In that case, focus on the primary process or the most demanding requirement. The engineering team can help evaluate multi-process projects after reviewing your product details, mold layout, and production target.
How do I narrow down the right machine series?
Each application page lists machine series and table configurations that are commonly reviewed for that production pattern. DA Series fits many standard vertical injection workflows, DC Series is considered when open working-area access helps manual insert loading, and DK Series is reviewed for projects that need vertical clamping with horizontal injection. The final selection depends on your specific mold, material, insert handling, and output target.
Can a machine be customized for a specific application?
Yes. For applications that do not fit a standard machine configuration - unusual mold structures, non-standard insert loading, special material requirements, or custom automation needs - the engineering team can discuss a custom vertical molding platform after reviewing your project details.
